We build are own cages. Create our own dungeons. We lock ourselves in the darkness and drown. I find that I am really good at creating my own dungeon and shackling myself in chains.

We weren’t created to be tied down in chains. God provides freedom. It is ONLY through Him that we are free. I go to all these things trying to find freedom when I know that they lead me astray. Disappointed. Hurt. Confused. Stinks hardcore. When will I remember this?

Lately God is breaking my walls down. Destroying my chains and making it harder to run from him. I learned the other day that we are in a race constantly running to him, and he is cheering us on. As silly as this sounds I forget He is for me. DUH!!! And he doesn’t care if I finish first or last, He just wants my all.

I am changed forever. These roads haven’t been easy. I’m a warrior princess now. Fighting for hurt and lost souls. Fighting for YOU! Not sure when I transitioned to here but it’s kind of crazy.

So what are you chaining down and not letting God have control?
